Aglio olio – warning extreme garlicky

Ingredients 6-7 pax

  • 2 tsp. dried parsley
  • 200 g shrimps
  • 12 cloves of garlic (generous amount)
  • 3/4 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 500 g fettuccine or angel hair pasta (cooked and drained)
  • 100 g kale (non standard)

Description

Spaghetti aglio e olio is a traditional Italian pasta dish from Naples. It is a typical dish of Neapolitan cuisine and is widely popular because it is simple to prepare and makes use of inexpensive, readily-available ingredients. Wikipedia

Procedure

  1. Cook the spaghetti per instruction for 10 minutes without need to drain
  2. Meanwhile add in finely chopped garlic (4 clove) with olive oil into pan
  3. Dump In shrimps and let them swim in the pool of sizzling garlicky olive oil
  4. Blend the Ingredients well and remove the shrimp from the pan.

Abdomen of prawn contains a chemical called as tacan thin that can cause the prawn to turn red on being cooked

Fun facts
  • Now add the rest of the garlic in pan of sizzling olive oil and toss in kale (not conventional)
  • Then mixed the slithering spaghetti into the pan
  • Add in scoop of pasta water to keep the noodles wet
  • Always remember to add in salt
  • Sprinkle parsley to brighten up your day
  • serve to a bunch of hungry family members

  • Change your clothes to remove the garlic smell
Non standard agilo olio

Traditional dish contains max up to four ingredients; spaghetti, olive oil, parsley and garlic.

Any other things are non standard. The reviews were in, salt is insufficient but the garlic flavours were there to impress tastebud of my family. I rate this a 4.5 ⭐️ . How about you?
